OpenDSS

The OpenDSS is an electric power Distribution System Simulator (DSS) for supporting distributed resource integration and grid modernization efforts.

It can define the electrical grid using text-based commands. The program can produce graphical plots of the network and various parameters like resistances, losses, etc. in each line.
